week #8
This week's assigned reading was about using your computer to make telephone calls. I never heard of this before I read the chapter so I learned something new. According to the chapter, this is a benefit if your phone bills are more than $30-$40 per month. I don't think this is something I would use now, but will keep it in mind if things change in the future.

I think voice chat is really neat. I agree that I may not use it on a regular basis but at least I know how to use it. I think it is great for a quick chat or on the road to avoid roaming cell phone charges. It is great that we have the opportunity to learn these new technologies.
